NTI reloads leadership team
Brisbane-based National Transport Insurance (NTI) has a reshuffled executive team which will provide a stronger focus on claims and new market opportunities, according to GM Sales and Distribution Mike Edmonds.
NTI has increased its executive team by one, replacing the corporate development and planning management role with one for market development, while splitting insurance operations into separate underwriting and claims divisions.
Greg Sanderson will step down as GM for insurance operations, with Bryce Hatton to take over the new underwriting division.
New executive appointee Alan Hasted is now NTI’s GM Claims Operations.
Peter Burtenshaw is the other new addition to the executive team as GM Market Development. Mr Burtenshaw was previously the Western Australian state manager.
John Brereton will remain as GM People and Technology.
Mr Edmonds says the reshuffle “will help NTI focus on its core strengths”.
