National Transport Insurance (NTI) says it has enhanced its policies to meet the needs of Australian civil and earthmoving consumers.

Its new contractors’ plant and equipment offering is available to fleet and SME customers.

GM Sales and Distribution Mike Edmonds says it is not a new segment for NTI, but previous products were “not as specific as they could have been”.

“We have made the appropriate changes and we now have a much better product,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au. “There has been a big approach already, so obviously there must have been a need.”
