New underwriting agency for SME market
Three underwriting agencies have been rolled into one to form Winsure Insurance Group, a specialist in commercial lines for the SME sector.
It follows the merger of World Insurance Network and Insbroke Services last year. After the acquisition of Ausnet Underwriting Agency this month, the company has consolidated the three businesses under Winsure livery.
Winsure is headed by directors Peter McCarthy and Alex Shead and is based in Sydney.
The agency provides nine lines of insurance including property, commercial motor, personal accident and aviation lines, as well as access to Lloyd’s security.
