Liability specialist Kevin Corkery will be the senior underwriter of NSW start-up underwriting agency Lawsons Underwriting Australasia.

Kevin Corkery, who will also be a director of the new business, was previously a director of Connect Liability Solutions but departed the organisation earlier this year.

The new Lawsons business is currently awaiting an Australian financial services licence before it begins trading.
