Michael Murphy has been appointed CEO of QBE subsidiary Underwriting Agencies of Australia (UAA).

He has joined the UAA team after 10 years at Citigroup, where he was most recently head of its mortgage distribution platform, OnePort. He also led the Citigroup national sales team in the mortgage broker market.
