New player connects with the PI market
Underwriting agency Connect Liability Solutions is the latest entrant into the crowded professional indemnity (PI) market in Australia.
The new Connect Professional Solutions platform will underwrite a broad range of SME PI risks on behalf of the Newline Syndicate 1218.
There are now believed to be more than 30 players servicing the local PI market.
Former Munich American RiskPartners underwriter Stephen Mullaly will head the operation. He says the new-look Melbourne team plans to “slowly but surely” gain new business.
