New member for IBNA
Edgar Insurance Brokers of Cobram in Victoria has joined Insurance Brokers Network Australia (IBNA).
The brokerage, formerly an authorised representative under the name Edgar Crosier, has obtained its own licence and rebranded.
Director Brennan Edgar says joining IBNA will give his business increased support and extra clout with insurers.
“I think it’s going to be a great fit for us,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
Mr Edgar’s grandfather started the business in 1947. His father Peter and brother Shannon also work with the brokerage.
The company, with eight staff in total, also has an office in Benalla, northeast Victoria.
IBNA Chairman Gary Gribbin said five new businesses have joined the group in the past couple of months, taking total membership to 82. Another seven applications are also in the works, he told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
