New equity partner for Horsell

A new company called PSC Horsell Insurance Brokers has emerged as PSC Holdings (Australia) takes an undisclosed major stake in Horsell International.

John Horsell will remain as executive chairman in an expanded board of equity holders, and PSC Holdings MD Paul Dwyer takes on the same title in the new company.

The board will also comprise former OAMPS CEO Brian Austin, former OAMPS senior executive John Dwyer, Rohan Stewart, Craig Horsell and Tony Lumsden.

Paul Dwyer says PSC Horsell will be like no other privately Australian-owned insurance broker, with offices in Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra and the Gold Coast as well as strategic alliances in other Australian capital cities.

As a member partner of the Wells Fargo Global Broker Network it will be represented in more than 130 countries.

John Horsell says the new company will continue a growth strategy of acquiring brokers that suit its business model.
