New entrant flies into general aviation market
Assetinsure has entered the general aviation insurance market as Assetinsure Aviation, and has begun trading throughout Australia and the Pacific region.
The new aviation team will be led by Brendan Warner, who has more than 27 years’ aviation insurance experience. He will be joined next month by Matthew Puryer, who has worked in general aviation in the London market.
The aviation business will be based in Melbourne and work exclusively through the intermediary market. A wide selection of aviation risks will be underwritten, ranging from light aircraft to commercial fleet operations to hangar-keeper’s legal liability.
