Ansvar Insurance has appointed former Ernst & Young executive director of financial services Vito Giudice as Chief Risk Officer.

At Ernst & Young Mr Giudice provided risk and compliance advisory services to several domestic and international banks and insurers.

He has also worked in regulatory compliance and risk positions at AMP and ANZ.

Mr Giudice has been promoted after joining Ansvar in December as risk and compliance manager.

Ansvar has made two other senior appointments: Diana Borgmeyer becomes Head of Client Risk Solutions and Helen Auricht is the new State Manager for SA and NT.

Before joining Ansvar Ms Borgmeyer was senior risk consultant at the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority.

Ms Auricht was previously business development manager at Guardian Insurance Brokers.

She joined the insurance industry in 1996 and has worked at Swann Insurance, Catholic Church Insurance and Aon Risk Services.
