New Chubb business pack covers cyber, environment
Chubb has launched a product tailor-made for Australian firms that also provides cover for cyber and environmental liability.
The policy comes with standard coverage for business interruption, general property damage, public and products liability, machinery and equipment breakdown, theft, money and tax audits.
Business Pack Insurance is targeted at businesses with a turnover of up to $10 million, the US insurer says.
“Not only will it cover all the typical exposures small business owners face in their day-to-day operations but it will also cover emerging risks like cyber and environmental liability,” Country President for Australia and New Zealand John French said.
The product covers cyber liabilities such as network security, privacy and data asset loss while the environmental protection component covers sudden, accidental and gradual pollution originating at the insured location.
Chubb says the product is available only through the broker distribution network via its e-placement platform on Sunrise Exchange.
