Aon Australia National GM Corporate Risk Services Steve Nevett has been appointed CEO of Aon Australia, with the man he replaces, Peter Harmer, moving to the UK as CEO and country manager of Aon UK.

Mr Nevett will retain his current job while juggling the demands of the top CEO position. A company statement says that under his stewardship Aon Australia’s corporate risk business has grown 24% in the past three years and now holds one-third of the market.

The changes come about as the result of movements in the top ranks of the international Aon group.
