Nautilus Marine remains “pretty confident” of locking down a new underwriting agency agreement ahead of the departure of Lumley early next year.

In February insuranceNEWS.com.au reported Lumley had served notice of its intention to quit underwriting pleasurecraft, charter and commercial insurance for Nautilus.

Nautilus National Underwriting Manager Damian Pugh told insuranceNEWS.com.au an announcement about a new underwriter for Nautilus is expected this month.

It’s understood the company has narrowed the field of possible underwriters down to a few candidates.
