Newcastle-based online motor insurer PD Insurance has picked Digicall Assist as its roadside assistance partner under a multi-year agreement announced last week.

CEO Roland Lange says Digicall was a “clear choice” for the insurer, given its track record of providing premium customer care.

“For us, it was critical to partner with a provider with extensive coverage across Australia, to ensure we cater to all customers,” Mr Lange said.

PD Insurance is part of Badger International, an insurance group with operations in New Zealand, the US, South Africa and Israel.

Launched more than 10 years ago, PD Insurance bills itself as a low-cost motor insurance provider with a “no one size fits all” mantra.
