Mondial moves brand to Allianz

Mondial Assistance Australia is to become Allianz Global Assistance in July as part of a global rebranding.

The company has been part of the Allianz empire for more than 10 years and the global rebranding is designed to create new opportunities, according to Australian CEO Ian Norris.

“As Allianz Global Assistance, our business-to-business focus will not change,” he said.

Mondial provides travel insurance and emergency medical assistance, roadside assistance to automotive manufacturers as well as overseas student health insurance and assistance to Australian universities and higher education institutions.

Mondial operates 28 in countries with a consolidated turnover of €1.892 billion ($2.53 billion).
