MLC interim results ‘robust’

National Australia Bank’s wealth management subsidiary MLC has recorded what the bank describes as “robust results” in the six months to March this year, with average in-force premium increasing 30.1% during the period.

A $44 billion increase in funds under management to $114 billion was largely due to the acquisition of financial advisory group Aviva Australia, as well as strong investment markets.
