Meridian Lawyers has announced a "strategic alliance” with Singapore-based heritage law firm Donaldson & Burkinshaw LLP to strengthen and expand its insurance and commercial legal operations. 

As part of the collaboration, the two firms will share the expertise and resources of their respective teams.  

Meridian MD Paul Baker says the partnership presents an opportunity to “provide further specialist sector support to our clients with an expanded competitive Asia Pacific offering”.  

Donaldson & Burkinshaw LLP Senior Partner Eric Tin says he looks forward “to the sharing of knowledge and best practices that come with this alliance”.  

“This strategic alliance will benefit our Asia Pacific clients who need high quality legal services for their investments and business in Australia,” Mr Tin said.  

Both firms have confirmed they will continue to operate independently.
