Medical defence mutual MDA National has announced a strategic alliance formalising it as the preferred medical indemnity insurer for the Australian Medical Association (AMA) Queensland.

Complimentary professional medical indemnity cover will be available for eligible postgraduate doctors, and eligible doctors in specialist training will be offered premium reductions.

The deal aims to deliver benefits to members of both organisations, including greater access to education, promotion of doctors’ health and wellbeing, and collaborative events and activities.

Fundraising and support for the medical community will be boosted by the alignment of the AMA Queensland Foundation and MDA National’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program.
