Paul Keating is to stand down as MD of QBE strata businesses CHU Underwriting Agencies and Body Corporate Brokers after seven years in the role.

Under a revised structure David Hampton will continue as CHU’s GM and take responsibility for its overseas operations in the UK and United Arab Emirates.

Alistair Gibney becomes Body Corporate Brokers National Manager. He joined the business in 2007 and has three decades’ experience in the insurance industry.

He and Mr Hampton will report to QBE Australia EGM Corporate Partners and Specialty Tim Plant.

“Following a review of the CHU business we have recognised further efficiencies can be delivered through this change in structure,” Mr Plant said.

The changes take effect from Friday.
