McLarens building in Brisbane, Newcastle

McLarens Australia has appointed three loss adjusters in Queensland and one in NSW, as part of its re-entry into the country.

Stephen Grandidge has joined the company in Brisbane following four years as an executive claims preparer at LMI Group.

He is joined by Shelley Verner and Chris Davies, both from Cerno, which made 36 positions redundant in March as it continues its integration with claims services group Stream.

Russ Holliday, who has also previously worked for Cerno, has joined McLarens in Newcastle.

“Our re-entry has been very well received by the market,” McLarens GM Martyn Wicht told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

The company will continue rolling out in mainland capitals first, he says.

“The loss adjusters we have appointed are all highly skilled and building a reliable and experienced team takes careful selection.”

McLarens’ return to Australia was prompted by growth in the Asia-Pacific region and globally.
