McCabe Curwood recruits for new Melbourne branch
Law firm McCabe Curwood has appointed Benjamin Karalus as Principal of its new office in Melbourne.
Mr Karalus will lead a team of seven insurance law specialists.
“Melbourne is the first port of call in our plans for a national expansion.” Managing Principal Andrew Lacey said.
“It is an important economic centre for our clients, and we are pleased to offer a permanent on-the-ground solution for Victoria.
“We are growing across all areas of business – insurance and commercial – but want to make sure we are building for the right reasons and with the right people.”
Mr Karalus was most recently a partner with TurksLegal.
Priya Paquet, another former TurksLegal partner, has joined McCabe Curwood’s office in Sydney in a similar role.
