Austbrokers Holdings has announced an executive reshuffle, including the appointment of Martin McAvenna as GM of Austbrokers and IBNA Member Services (AIMS).

Mr McAvenna, who was previously Executive Director of Austbrokers underwriting agencies business Austagencies, moved into the new role today. He has stepped down as Underwriting Agencies Council Chairman with immediate effect.

Former AIMS GM Jeff Howells today begins a new role as MD of Austbrokers ABS, previously known as Austbrokers Sydney.

Former Austbrokers Sydney GM Glenn Lambert will take up a new senior executive role within Austbrokers Holdings.

Austbrokers CEO Lach McKeough says he expects the appointments to contribute to further growth within the group.

“Jeff with his strong broking background will provide the direction and leadership to take ABS to the next level of its development, while Martin is equipped with the necessary skill-set to further develop the AIMS concept.”
