Marsh restructures Asia-Pacific division
Mega-broker Marsh has announced changes to its Asia-Pacific management structure.
Former Marsh Europe and UK CEO Martin South will take the new role of Asia-Pacific CEO, while the head of Asia position formerly held by Alan Cheah has been removed.
Instead of reporting to Mr Cheah, who will become country leader for Singapore and remains Chairman of Southeast Asia, the separate Asian regions – including greater China, southeast Asia and India – will report directly to Mr South.
Marsh Australia CEO John Clayton remains Head of Pacific, covering Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea. He will also report to Mr South, who will be based in Singapore and takes up his position on January 1.
