International broking firm Marsh has introduced new claims administration features for its Stars software in a bid to address the needs of third-party administrators, insurers and organisations that self-administer claims.

Dan Pascucci, Marsh’s National Manager Technology and Innovation, says the new service enables claims administrators to configure business rules, workflow routines, and screens according to an organisation’s best practices for each coverage.

“As claims organisations strive to expand their… services to meet the evolving needs of their clients, Stars can provide broad-based capabilities to respond effectively to a wide range of client requirements, as well as the flexibility to design and deliver client-specific interfaces,” he said.
