CGU Chief Underwriting Officer Darren Maher is moving to IAG, to take the same role with the parent company.

His technical expertise “will enable the new IAG group risk function under Justin Breheny to further develop its group-wide underwriting strategy and frameworks”, the company says.

Mr Breheny became Group Chief Risk Officer in September as part of IAG’s focus on building its risk management framework.

CGU says Mr Maher has yet to be replaced.
