Lockton forms global group
Global broker group Lockton has created a more formal relationship with its brokers, which includes Perth and Sydney-based Australian Reliance.
Lockton Global will be a partnership of 30 broker and adviser companies aiming to deliver global risk management services for multinational companies.
Chairman John Lumelleau says the partnership is “an evolutionary step, strengthening existing partnerships that serve the global insurance, risk management and employee benefits needs of our mutual clients”.
He says members of the new company want to deal with their overseas counterparts but remain private businesses.
“By acting in partnership, we deal with each other because we want to, not because we have to,” he said. “We have mutually committed to treat every client as our own.”
Lockton has more than 4100 brokers and risk advisers globally, servicing more than 15,000 clients.
