Lloyd’s has appointed Christopher Rummery to the new role of Senior Market Development Manager for the Asia-Pacific region.

He will be based in Singapore and be responsible for developing broker relationship strategy.

Lloyd’s says he will work closely with the broker network and managing agents and service companies.

Mr Rummery has worked in the insurance industry in London, the US and Asia and joins Lloyd’s from Willis, where he was chief placement officer for Asia.

He has also worked as a reinsurance broker for Benfield Group and PWS.
