Liberty International Underwriters (LIU) Executive VP Asia-Pacific Noel MacCarthy has moved from Sydney to Singapore as the company strengthens its Asian operations.

LIU Asia-Pacific President Mike Abdallah says Mr MacCarthy’s role will not change but “we expect his relocation... to deliver greater stimulus to our Asia market presence and product line co-ordination and development”.

Mr MacCarthy has more than 20 years of casualty insurance experience and will retain his current Asia-Pacific casualty leadership role.

LIU has also promoted Dominic Fogarty to Senior VP Casualty Australia, to head casualty product lines in this country.
