Leona Murphy to help sculpt Stone & Chalk
Fintech innovator Stone & Chalk has appointed former IAG executive Leona Murphy as chairman of its board, among a number of new board appointments.
Ms Murphy was an independent non-executive director of the organisation for three years.
Former chairman Craig Dunn’s three-year term has expired, but he will continue as a “global ambassador” for the start-up incubator.
Ms Murphy has spent 20 years in financial services, including 10 years in C-suite roles in top-20 ASX listed companies.
Stone & Chalk says in a statement that she will be integral in helping shape and guide the company’s approach as it moves into its next ramp-up phase, cementing its position as a destination for leading fintechs across the globe.
The Stone & Chalk board directors are Afterpay co-founder Anthony Eisen, Moula co-founder Aris Allegos, OpenSparkz COO Debra Taylor, WordFlow COO Carol Trotman, IAG Firemark Ventures Managing General Partner Ron Arnold, ANZ Digital and Wealth COO Kylie Rixon, and Daisee CEO Richard Kimber.
