Rachael Lavars has become CEO of Macquarie Pacific Funding, replacing Stuart White, who has left the company.

Ms Lavars was head of predecessor company Macquarie Premium Funding from 2006-08 and played a key role in the acquisition of Pacific Premium Funding in 2013.

She was most recently head of Macquarie Business Banking’s insurance broking segment.

Macquarie Pacific Funding Chairman Bruce Bollom says Ms Lavars has been instrumental in creating and developing the bank’s premium funding brand and has been involved in the business since it was established.
