XL’s Craig Langham will head up insurance in the region for the merged XL Catlin.

Mr Langham, currently XL’s Regional Manager Asia-Pacific and Australia, will be one of four regional insurance CEOs for the new operation.

There will also be four CEOs for insurance underwriting reporting to Chief Underwriting Officer Insurance Paul Brand. Regional CEOs will report to Chief Regional Officer Insurance Kelly Lyles.

In reinsurance, Peter Schmidt, currently Group CEO of Catlin Re Switzerland, will become CEO of Asia-Pacific and Latin America.
