Listed online retailer Kogan.com will this year add pet cover to the range of insurance products it distributes through agreements with Hollard.

Kogan Executive Director David Shafer says pet insurance is a growing category and a natural extension to the retailer’s insurance offering.

It will earn commission on each policy issued under the Kogan Pet Insurance brand. Cover will be underwritten by Hollard and administered by its PetSure subsidiary.

Kogan began selling home, contents, landlord, car and travel insurance last year.
