Building group KASE has acquired Queensland-headquartered Townsend Building Services, as it continues to expand.

It is KASE’s second major acquisition this year, following the addition of Adelaide Insurance Builders in October.

KASE says Townsend, with offices across Australia and a strong presence in Queensland, strengthens its national footprint. “[The acquisition] is an exciting step forward in our mission to become the preferred insurance builder in Australia,” CEO Kurt Saunderson said.

Clients can expect “a seamless transition”, the companies say.
