Johns Lyng trims board in changes 'consistent with best practice'
Johns Lyng Group is trimming the size of its board and changing its weighting toward independents, with company executives Lindsay Barber and Philippa Turnbull resigning as directors effective from the start of next month.
Mr Barber, who has been COO since 2005 and Ms Turnbull, EGM Business Development and Marketing, will remain as executives of the company.
Johns Lyng says its board will be comprised of eight directors from March 1, down from ten currently, with five holding independent non-executive positions.
“A majority of non-executive directors is consistent with best practice and ASX guidelines,” Chairman Peter Nash said.
