JLT Australia has appointed Igor Fijan as CFO following the retirement of Bruno Codemo.

Mr Fijan has spent the past 13 years at American Express, most recently as VP and lead financial officer of global merchant services for Asia-Pacific and Australia.

He will oversee JLT’s finance function and treasury and company secretarial operation.

JLT Australia CEO Leo Demer says Mr Fijan “will play an important role as we strengthen our focus on [the] service offering and value proposition to clients”.

Mr Codemo, who joined the company in 1985, announced his retirement earlier this year.
