Steadfast says James Fitzpatrick has been appointed head of Miramar Underwriting, as the agency also refreshes its branding.

Mr Fitzpatrick has worked in the insurance industry for more than 35 years and with Miramar for seven years. Most recently he has held the role of Southern Region Manager.

“James is a highly accomplished insurance professional whose career has spanned a diverse range of technical, relationship management, underwriting and managerial roles,” Steadfast EGM of Partner and Brokers Services Nick Cook said.

“His experience and skills will put him in good stead to lead the Miramar team as we continue to grow our business with brokers.”

Miramar, whose products include property, liability, association liability and engineering, has refreshed its brands and introduced a new logo and website.

The agency says its signature logo has been changed into a renewed modern wave, reflecting the team’s energy and direction, while the new colours represent stability, reliability and progress.

“We pride ourselves on our relationships and our ability to support brokers and their clients, and we look forward to continuing our service, now and well into the future,” Mr Fitzpatrick said.
