Jack Joubert has been promoted to CEO at Hollard Commercial Insurance (HCi), a role he has held on an acting basis since the departure of Richard Heilig in June.

Mr Joubert, who is a qualified actuary, says the commercial business has grown rapidly to become a leading SME insurer.

“My focus going forward will be to continue that growth and focus on our core products and low touch electronic platform.”

Formerly CFO at HCi, Mr Joubert has also held a number of other leadership roles within the global Hollard Group, including head of capital and senior positions in Namibia and Zambia.

Cara Cronje has also been confirmed as CFO after holding the position on an interim basis since July.
