LMI Mobile has launched an iPhone app designed to reduce underinsurance on buildings.

The Building Cost Calculator guides users in determining the cost of rebuilding a range of buildings, from residential to commercial and can be downloaded free through the iTunes or App stores. 

The calculation can be emailed, providing brokers and advisers with reduced PI exposure because they can prove that underinsurance is an issue they have brought to the client’s attention.

LMI, which provides a wide range of claims advisory services throughout the industry, has previously produced an underinsurance calculator app.
