Insurer scoops call centre award

A&G Insurance Services, part of the Budget Insurance group and formerly known as Insurers Hotline, has collected the ATA National Call Centre of the Year award for the second year in a row.

The awards, run by the Australian Teleservices Association, recognise individuals and organisations that have sought to improve standards, innovation and professionalism.

A&G Director of Call Centre Gerry O’Shaughnessy says it’s “a difficult award to win” with so many strong businesses across the country competing. 

“Our customers rate us more highly than just about any other financial services company in the country, and now the professional body that represents our industry has given us the ultimate compliment for the second year running,” he said.

A&G will now go on to represent Australia at the Asia-Pacific Contact Centre Leaders conference.
