Insure247 teams up with safety app
Broker Insure 247 has partnered with health and safety compliance app Zero Harm to offer bundled insurance benefits for policyholders in New Zealand.
Clients buying a general or liability insurance policy arranged by the Gold Coast-based broker will be offered free access to the app, which offers safety system data and aims to help subscribers benefit from proof-of-safety culture.
“When I look at it from an insurance point of view, I noticed the similarities between the app and our insurance business,” CEO Steve Sloan told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
“As brokers, we are looking at those same items. This app allows clients of Zero Harm to identify their risks, which allows us as brokers to recognise what those people should insure against. A safer workplace is least likely to make a claim.”
There are plans for an Australian launch in the second quarter.
