Insurance House picks up excess for drought-hit farmers
Insurance House has pledged to pay claims excesses for any eligible client under its drought relief program.
The offer applies to farming clients registered to receive the Federal Government’s Farm Household Allowance, and runs to a maximum $5000 per claim.
It applies from January 1 for losses excluding crop and multiperil insurance policy claims.
The program is a long-term initiative, Insurance House says, and about 430 clients may be eligible.
