Insurance House moves into Brisbane

Melbourne-based Insurance House Group has moved into the Brisbane market with the acquisition of PM Insurance Advisory Service (PMIAS).

Insurance House Director Gary Gribben told insuranceNEWS.com.au the deal comes into effect tomorrow.

He says the Brisbane business will use a combined title in recoignition of the “excellent reputation” built up by PMIAS MD Peter Marer. “Their way of doing business complements our operation remarkably well.”

Mr Marer says his clients will benefit “from the advantages that flow from being part of a much larger broking business”.

Insurance House now has offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Echuca and Brisbane. It includes underwriting agency ProRisk, two life insurance broking businesses and Country Professional Insurance Group, which acts as an agent for Bendigo Bank.
