Insurance House Group has bought Henderson Insurance Agencies, based in Boort, central Victoria.

The family business was established 30 years ago and services rural and domestic SME clients.

Insurance House MD Wayne Hildebrand says the group will now have a greater presence in rural Victoria, with offices in Boort, Kyabram and Echuca.

Insurance House was founded in Echuca, on the Victoria-NSW border, and it shares many of the cultural values of Henderson, he said.

Wayne and Julie Henderson and son Brenton will remain with the business.

Insurance House Chairman Gary Gribbin told insuranceNEWS.com.au the group will retain the Boort office.

“This fits with our regional engagement strategy, there is value in being in regional Victoria,” he said.
