IAG publishes motor, property repair inspection stats
IAG says it completed more than 14,400 motor repair inspections and conducted 2867 property repair inspections in the last financial year, despite challenges posed by covid restrictions.
The insurer published the figures in its Quality Report 2020/21, an annual publication that provides the latest data on how the business has performed in relation to motor and property repairs.
EGM Direct Claims Luke Gallagher says the report highlights IAG’s focus on its dedication to quality, safety and supporting its customers through extreme weather events and the pandemic.
“This time last year we were supporting our east coast customers through devastating storms and floods,” he said.
“Sadly, the same tragic situation is unfolding again. Our focus is helping them recover as quickly as possible.”
Out of the 14,481 motor inspections made, 1434 quality issues were identified, the report said. The average repair quality score was 95.4%.
In relation to property repairs, 127 quality issues were identified.
