IAG New Zealand has appointed three new non-executive directors, adding Michele Embling, Rachel Walsh and Scott Pickering to its board.

Mr Pickering currently serves on IAG’s group board. He was previously a director for Chubb Insurance’s Australia and New Zealand division and CEO of the New Zealand Accident Compensation Corporation.

Ms Embling holds non-executive positions on several boards, including AIA New Zealand and the Financial Reporting Council. She was PwC New Zealand’s chair from 2016 to 2020.

Ms Walsh is a director of New Zealand’s Exchange and a member of the External Reporting Board Advisory Panel. She also serves as Group CFO for Australasian tech company Datacom.

IAG New Zealand Chair Simon Allen says the trio will bring “fresh insights and vigour” to the board.
