IAG happy with repair quality
IAG says it will not rest on its laurels after an internal report gave its repair programs for property and motor near-perfect scores in 2015/16.
The group’s annual quality report finds potential safety issues in 0.008% of 32,665 authorised motor repairs undertaken, and quality issues in 0.66%.
For property, 23 of the 5562 authorised repairs had potential safety issues and 2% quality problems.
“Where we have identified issues, we have worked closely with repairers to rectify them,” Head of Supply Chain Steve Bubulj said.
He says new technology is increasingly helping the company meet policyholders’ rising demands for more diverse products at the lowest possible cost.
“[This] means traditional ways of delivering products and services and how we engage with customers needs to adapt,” Mr Bubulj said.
