IAG gets Smart on marketing
IAG has appointed former Saatchi & Saatchi CEO Brent Smart to the new role of Chief Marketing Officer.
He will joins the insurer’s Customer Labs division, reporting to Chief Customer Officer Julie Batch. His role involves overseeing brand and marketing strategies for NRMA Insurance, CGU, SGIO, SGIC and WFI in Australia, plus NZI and AMI in New Zealand.
Mr Smart was Saatchi & Saatchi chief from 2013 to late last year, after serving as worldwide MD from 2011. He has also held executive roles at ad agencies BBDO in the US and Colenso BBDO in New Zealand.
