IAG finds fall in repair network quality
IAG has revealed a jump in quality issues across its property repair network.
The insurer conducted 7793 inspections on property repairs in 2017/18.
Quality issues were identified in 5.19% of authorised repairs, compared with 2.56% the previous year. Potential safety issues were flat at 0.05% of repairs.
Meanwhile, there was a slight drop in quality issues for the motor repair network.
IAG completed 54,108 inspections, finding 2207 quality issues, or 4.07%. Potential safety issues were found in 0.07% of inspections.
The previous year it recorded 4.71% and 0.01% respectively.
