IAG will collaborate with Airtasker to design and deliver tailored insurance to the digital odd-jobs marketplace.

The insurer invested in the platform as part of a capital-raising last year to help it expand to the UK. This backing came through IAG’s $75 million Firemark Ventures start-up fund.

IAG is trialling Airtasker offers for CGU’s small business customers and ShareCover short-term rental insurance customers.

It is also providing third-party liability cover to Airtasker users through CGU.
