Reinsurance veteran Scott Grove has been made IAG’s Group GM Reinsurance.

Mr Grove has more than 30 years’ experience in reinsurance. He was previously MD at Aon Benfield for four years, and before that he spent 18 years at Guy Carpenter, including five years at its New York head office.

Deputy CFO Dan Coman says Mr Grove will add “considerable value” to the IAG reinsurance team.

“Reinsurance is an integral part of our overall capital management program, and I look forward to having Scott as part of my leadership team,” Mr Coman said.
